This is a long overdue update.The reason for the updates which i wasn't planning on doing it. Because majority of my co-workers still use the epic touch 4G and had asked me for a decent stock rom with extra features.And a couple of old emails i received asking me about updates. So because of the requests i received, I finally came out with a nice build. this build is from sprint latest IMM76I.FF18 there's other leaks but i'm gonna stick with this one.
Mind you i have the Evo 4G LTE, with my special blend of custom tweaks and apps.not all i was able to incorporate but the basic so read the change log below.
- Added Google Ears
- Added Google now - its functional
- Added Brivia and xLoud engine v5.1
- Added battery and performance tweaks zipalign on boot, database fragmentation upon boot, disabled logger, build.prop tweaks
- Added blazer ics quick setting menu the quick menu setting is in app drawer.
- Added sprint hotspot hack
Removed many bloatware that is safe to remove and not cause issue with device. Many google apps were removed so download them from the google playstore
There's many more tweaks added.There's been report of battery drain issue with this rom version.When i was on stock without any tweaks i had experience it.With added battery and performance tweaks i notice an improvement but not like my Evo 4G LTE, i'll continue to play with it some more.
This rom is using agat stock kernel with custom recovery. I suggest that if you coming from another rom, to first do a nandroid backup.Then clear to factory setting following by clearing dalvik cache and cache.Use the attach utility.
