Application description

Based on legal discussions with the cantons and lawyers, we have had to make some changes to the app. All cantons are still accessible, only most of the cantons are unfortunately no longer accessible directly within the app, but indirectly via a direct link in the webbrowser of your iPhone/regular computer.

This has been a decision of the individual cantons, and has nothing to do with the functionality of this program.

CarIndex is a new application available for the iPhone that enables you to search for the owner of cars with a Swiss licenseplate! Simply search for the carowner in any of the Swiss cantons: Zürich, Bern, Luzern, Uri, Schwyz, Unterwalden, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Glarus, Zug, Fribourg, Solothurn, Basel, Schaffhausen, Appenzell, Sankt Gallen, Graubünden, Aargau, Thurgau, Ticino, Tessin, Vaud, Valais, Neuchâtel, Genève, Jura*.

* Call the car-owner directly from within the application (for selected cantons)
* See directly where the car-owner lives. (for selected cantons)
* Store within the application your favourite licenseplates, including the owner data (for selected cantons)
