Right now if you act fast, you can score a Nintendo Switch OLED for less than the normal $349.99 price as Woot! has it on sale for $290 for Black Friday. You’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member to get this discount and you have to complete the purchase through the Woot! app using the provided link. The Switch OLED is rarely ever discounted and for that matter so is the regular Switch.
So when you find it at a lower price than it usually costs, it’s generally the best time to pick it up. That is assuming you don’t already have a Nintendo Switch OELED and have been wanting to get one. I picked up the Switch OLED in the Tears of the Kingdom Limited Edition model. And have been loving everything about it since. Games pop off the screen a little more than on the regular Nintendo Switch thanks to the OLED panel’s more vivid colors and deeper blacks.
And I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the battery life. Having spent all day playing it in portable mode without issue. You should be able to get up to 9 hours on it with a single charge. Keep in mind though that this time will vary. As it depends on your use of the screen brightness and volume, and the game you’re playing. I tend to get around 6 on average because I’m mostly playing Tears of the Kingdom with max brightness. The Switch OLED comes with 64GB of internal storage and you can of course buy the physical cartridges too. But if you want more space we’d highly recommend getting a microSD card to go along with the console.
