Today, Samsung announced that it has brought legendary artist Keith Haring's art collection to the Art Store on The Frame TV series. The collection consists of 12 peices of the artist's most notable artworks. Keith Haring was among the most notable artist of his time, and his artwork represented New York's urban street culture from the 1980s.
Keith Haring's 12 art pieces are now available in digital form on Samsung's Art Store, and people can pay a subsrciption to use them on their The Frame TVs. His popular artworks, including ‘Radiant Baby,' ‘Retrospect.' and ‘Untitled (Dancing Dogs),' have been optimized for the 16:9 aspect ratio screen on The Frame TV. Most of Keith Haring's artwork is inspired by street culture, and he began displaying his artwork at galleries and museums around the world. He was also known for his community work, social awareness projects, including literacy campaigns and anti-AIDS activities.
David Stark, the Founder and President of Artestar, said, “Working with Samsung Art Store felt like a great opportunity to share Keith Haring’s iconic artwork with a global audience. Keith Haring also created several murals, paintings, and sculptures to benefit hospitals, community health organizations, and underpreviliged children. His artwork is displayed at various museums across the world, including Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and many more. The Art Store has been adding digital artworks from renowned artists and art houses, including Gustav Klimt, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Tate (London), the Prado Museum (Madrid), and the Belvedere Museum (Vienna).
