If you’re after a set of speakers which manage to impress both in terms of sound and looks, then you might want to check out Kanto Audio’s newest product offerings. The brand recently took the wraps off its new 100W REN Active Speakers, which pack some pretty impressive hardware into an array of visually-vibrant designs.
Available in several colour options including Orange (probably our favourite of the bunch), Blue, White, Grey and Black, the REN integrates several features that the company promises can provide a “truly immersive audio experience.” This includes a an HDMI ARC connection with CEC that allows for high-quality connection to TV sets, as well as DSP technology that allows users to choose from a couple of pre-tuned sound modes including “Vocal Boost” and “Night Mode” for more relaxed listening.
For connectivity, the REN Speaker also comes with Bluetooth 5.3 support, USB-C and Optical inputs supporting audio up to 24-bit/96kHz, as well as RCA Line-in and 3.5mm Mini Jack inputs, allowing users to hook them up to more “traditional” analogue hardware. Users can also control the REN with their TV remote, although the speaker does come with a dedicated remote for more precise tuning. It starts at $599.
