REDMAGIC has launched the Nova Gaming Tablet in China, marking a significant addition to the gaming market. This impressive device features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition processor, establishing a new standard for mobile gaming performance. The Nova combines high-performance components with features that cater to both gamers and technology enthusiasts, including a high-refresh-rate display, advanced cooling technology, and remarkable battery life.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, delivers exceptional performance. With a CPU speed reaching 3.4GHz and a GPU frequency of 1GHz, the Nova achieves a remarkable Antutu score of 2,352,902, ensuring smooth gameplay, rapid load times, and dependable performance for dedicated gamers.
For extended gaming sessions, the Nova includes a 9-layer heat dissipation cooling system known as the PAD Cooling System ICE 2.0. This system features a powerful 20,000 RPM internal fan, a 3D heat pipe, and a 3D internal circulation air duct, which together mitigate temperature increases by up to 25°C, allowing for comfortable, prolonged gaming.

The tablet boasts a stunning 10.9-inch 2.8K display, designed for gamers, with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It incorporates an 840Hz touch sampling rate and Genshin Impact super-resolution technology, resulting in clear visuals and highly responsive touches. Eye strain during long gaming sessions is minimized thanks to the screen’s SGS certification for blue light filtering.
Powered by a robust 10,100mAh battery, the REDMAGIC Nova is built for lengthy usage, with claims of up to 18.7 hours of comprehensive battery life and around 10 hours of uninterrupted gaming. The dual-cell architecture and support for 120W flash charging allow users to regain 50% of battery life in just 15 minutes and a full charge in 45 minutes, maximizing gaming time.
In terms of aesthetics, the Nova features a sleek design available in Cyclone and Snowfall colors, showcasing transparent elements along with aircraft-grade aluminum and a glass back decorated with custom RGB lights. Its lightweight of 530g makes it easy to carry for gaming on the go.

The device runs on REDMAGIC OS 9.5, which includes the REDMAGIC Cube AI and Gravity X 2.0 systems for improved gaming interactions and AI enhancements. The Mora assistant provides intelligent support with customizable commands, and the device’s USB Type-C port allows for a variety of gaming peripherals.
The Nova does not neglect content creators, equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 20-megapixel front camera for high-quality imagery—perfect for capturing gaming highlights or streaming content.

The REDMAGIC Nova Gaming Tablet has launched in China with three configurations and two color options:

The tablet is currently available in China with an international version set to be announced on September 27, 2024.
