Oppo recently announced that it will be holding its yearly developer conference next month, which will undoubtedly reveal major updates to its many software products. This includes ColorOS 15, the next big upgrade to its custom Android skin.
Oppo says that the ColorOS 15 reveal will be accompanied by new AI features, an unsurprising development given the industry’s focus on pushing AI-based products to consumers. As such, this includes features such as a new AI note assistant, as well as other AI features baked into the system.
Of course, also present are new features which come with Android 15, such as adjustments to notification syncing for different devices, multitasking for tablets and foldables, and a whole lot more. One of the primary devices that’s expected to receive ColorOS 15 will the Oppo Find X8 series (at least once it launches), although we’re bound to know more details soon.
In other Android 15 news, it’s expected that Google will unveil its Android 15 update for supported Google Pixel devices on October 15, a bit later than the launch of the Pixel 9 series.
