Huawei introduced the latest Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 and MatePad 12 X last month in China. And, now the brand also launched both tablets in the global markets. Let’s take a look at the detailed specs, pricing, and availability.
The MatePad Pro 12.2-inch has a dual-layer Tandem OLED 2,800 x 1,840px resolution PaperMatte display with up to 2000 nits peak brightness. Huawei incorporated its anti-sparkle and nanoscale anti-glare tech into the MateaPad Pro, protecting users’ eyes with a paper-like visual experience. The panel comes with SGS Low Visual Fatigue 2.0, TUV Rheinland Reflection, and TUV Rheinland Reflection Full Care Display 3.0 certifications, offering a great streaming stream for long hours without eye-straining.
On the other hand, the MatePad 12X ships with a 12-inch LCD 144Hz PaperMatte display with 1000 nits peak brightness. Speaking about the design, the tablet features a shimmery pearlescent sheen design that changes colors depending on the lighting.

One thing common in both tablets is a massive 10,100mAh battery with 100W SuperCharge fast charging support. Huawei claims the device charges 0 -100% in just 55 minutes and offers up to 380 days of battery life in standby mode. The MatePad Pro also comes with a 2-in-1 stylus and Huawei Glide keyboard support.
The Huawei MatePad Pro starts at £700 for the base 256GB variant and the 512GB high-end variant is priced at £800. It comes in Premium Gold and Black color options.
The Huawei MatePad 12X retails at £549.99 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and comes in White, Greenery, and Sakura Pink color options. Both tablets are now available in several markets globally including Europe and UK.
