GameSir Webs its Way into Multi-Platform Gaming with Tarantula Pro Controller

GameSir, a well-known name in gaming peripherals, has rolled out its latest gadget, the Tarantula Pro controller. Priced at $79.99 (£79.99), this new controller is ready to join your gaming setup on Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, PC, and Steam. You can snag one on Amazon, Amazon UK, or the GameSir official website.

The Tarantula Pro sports a design inspired by its eight-legged namesake, featuring multiple extra buttons arranged in three lines on the front. This unique layout gives gamers more control options without having to count all the spiders in their closet. The controller shines with an RGB lighting strip and colorful face buttons, adding some flair to your gameplay sessions.

Connectivity is a breeze with tri-mode options: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and a good old wired connection. Whether you’re switching devices like changing game genres, the Tarantula Pro keeps up effortlessly. Its compatibility spans Switch, PC, iOS, Android, and Steam, making it a versatile choice for gamers who like to keep their options open.

Inside, the Tarantula Pro is powered by GameSir Tech, featuring Mag-ResTM TMR sticks that offer both precision and durability. Think of them as the controller’s secret sauce, ensuring smooth and reliable performance. The precision-tuned Hall Effect analogue triggers respond swiftly, giving players an edge in fast-paced games. For those intense FPS and action titles, the Hair Trigger Mode provides quick and accurate inputs – no need to pull your hair out in frustration.

The controller also includes HD Rumble technology, which brings in-game actions like crashes and gunshots to life with realistic vibrations. A built-in 6-axis gyroscope supports motion controls on Switch devices and can wake up the console with a single press – because who has time to fumble with buttons? The NFC function lets you interact seamlessly with Nintendo devices, perfect for fans of the platform.

Customization is a key feature of the Tarantula Pro. Gamers can map up to nine buttons to fit their playstyle and tweak lighting effects, including saturation, animation speed, and color choices. The back button latch allows you to enable or disable the back button, preventing those accidental presses that ruin your game flow. Switching between Switch and Xbox layouts is as easy as turning a gear on the face button mechanism.

For those who like to fine-tune their controllers, the GameSir Connect app and the GameSir app provide options for firmware updates, adjusting stick and trigger dead zones, vibration intensity, and button testing. Some settings can even be changed on-the-fly with key combinations, so you can make adjustments without pausing your game.
