Samsung is getting ready to add a new phone to its Fan Edition lineup. According to new leaks, the Galaxy S25 FE has entered internal software testing, and signs are pointing to a launch before the end of 2025.
A user on X, @alfaturk16, spotted test builds for the device running on Samsung servers, with the global model listed as SM-S731B. While Samsung hasn’t confirmed the One UI version, reports say the S25 FE will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box.
Specs-wise, don’t expect anything groundbreaking. The phone was spotted on Geekbench, where it showed up with the Exynos 2400e chip and Samsung’s Xclipse 940 GPU. That’s the same setup as last year’s S24 FE. One variant of the phone will pack 8GB of RAM.
There might be a few tweaks to the design. Early renders suggest thinner bezels around the display. The selfie camera could also see a bump to 12MP, up from 10MP. But the rear cameras look unchanged, featuring the same 50MP main, 8MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide combo as before.
The Galaxy S24 FE launched in September 2024, so we could see the S25 FE follow a similar timeline. Still, with the software testing just beginning, we might be looking at a late Q3 or early Q4 launch.
