Samsung tri-fold smartphone is coming this year, President confirms

Samsung's much-rumored tri-fold smartphone did not make an appearance at its Unpacked event yesterday, despite multiple past rumors claiming it would. So you may be wondering whether it's still coming.

The answer is a resounding yes according to Samsung Electronics President TM Roh. He also revealed that the company aims to have the tri-fold device on the market by the end of this year.

As for naming, Roh says Samsung hasn't yet decided - so it could end up being called Galaxy G Fold like some rumors said, or something completely different....
