New Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2025) brings better PaperMatte tech, bigger battery

Amidst all the excitement over the Pura 80 global launch, Huawei also revealed a refreshed version of the MatePad 11.5 from 2023. The new model has a sharper display with improved PaperMatte tech, a bigger battery with faster charging and more.

The 11.5” IPS LCD now has 2,450 x 1,600px resolution (256ppi, 3:2 aspect ratio), up from 2,200 x 1,200px. It runs at up to 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness (with DC dimming).

The optional PaperMatte technology uses nano-etching to reduce reflections by 60% and light interference by 99%. A new circular polarization filter further...
