Asus is Now Working on Android 16 for the Zenfone 12 Ultra

If you own a Zenfone 12 Ultra, then you might want to check if you’re eligible for ASUS’ Android 16 Beta program, which finally brings the current version of Android to Zenfone 12 users, along with tons of new features and functionality from Google.

That being said, users who want to sign up for ASUS’ Android 16 Beta will need to head on over to Settings > System > System update > tap on the gear icon > Enroll in Android preview program. It’s a pretty straightforward process, and doesn’t seem to have a user limit unlike what other brands are doing.

The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra was launched earlier this year, and packs some high-end specifications including a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, backed by up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, as well as a triple-camera setup.

It should be noted though that ASUS promises only up to two major Android upgrades for the phone, meaning that once Android 16 arrives you’re only left with one major Android version upgrade.
