Google is introducing many new features with the Pixel 10 series. To name a few, there’s the new Camera Coach to help with taking better pictures, Auto Best Take for making sure everyone in a photo always looks their best, and Magic Cue for more personalized intelligence. However, one of the most remarkable new features just may be an AI-powered feature aimed at breaking down language barriers.
You may remember that during Google I/O earlier this year, the company rolled out a new feature for Google Meet called Speech Translation. True to its name, the feature is able to translate speech into your chosen language in near real time. However, it does more than simply translate speech. It also reconstructs the speaker’s voice so it sounds like they are speaking in your desired language instead of a robot. Google has now brought that tech to the Pixel 10 through a feature called Voice Translate.
