With smart home technology now more accessible on a growing number of indoor entertainment appliances, we’ve seen some pretty interesting features which go beyond your usual smart screen experience. Take for example LG’s new Gallery+ feature, which it describes as a visual curation service designed to “enrich living spaces”.
Built on LG’s web OS platform, Gallery+ essentially allows your LG smart TVs to display a wide selection of artwork, which includes over 4,000 images in addition to personalization settings and adaptive smart features, allowing users to create a more ambient mood inside their home. Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company states:

The company says that it’s collaborated with cultural institutions such as the National Gallery in London, allowing users to view masterpieces like Vincent van Gogh’s A Wheatfield, with Cypresses and Georges Seurat’s Bathers at Asnières. For a more personal experience, users can also link up their Google Photos account to display their own photos, and even pair them up with relaxing music.
LG Gallery+ also supports adaptive features that adjust clarity and brightness, as well as Always-On-Display and screensaver modes for a more vibrant ambient display. There’s also AI Brightness Control that can quickly adapt to different indoor lighting settings.
For availability, LG says that Gallery+ will be accessible via a free light version on 2025 LG TVs in more than 150 countries, although there’s also a more feature-packed full version via a monthly subscription in 23 countries, including South Korea, the United States and across Europe, with further expansion planned.
