Samsung’s wide selection of budget smartphones is pretty expansive, and it’s gotten bigger now with the addition of the new Galaxy A07, which is part of the company’s more affordable A-series smartphone line. Starting at roughly $115 when converted, the A07 keeps things mostly simple when it comes to its specs and features.

Powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset, the Galaxy A07 comes wrapped in a design that’s unmistakable for a budget phone, with a large chin and waterdrop notch and a plastic build. There’s a 6.7-inch LCD screen in front with a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution, along with a decent-sized 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W charging speeds.

For cameras, you’re getting a dual 50MP and 2MP setup on the rear, with an 8MP selfie camera in front. The phone’s entire chassis also comes with IP54 certification for dust and water protection.
There’s a handful of RAM and storage configurations varying from 4GB + 64GB up to 8GB + 256GB, along with Samsung’s One UI software and apps onboard. Samsung does promise up to six years of software support for the phone, which is pretty impressive considering that it’s an entry-level model.
