Samsung Health’s upcoming paid plan may have a rival from Apple soon

Last month, Samsung‘s Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Health, Dr. Hon Pak, revealed that the brand is exploring paid subscription plans for Samsung Health, which would give people access to additional health tracking features with the help of Galaxy Watches

While there’s no information about when the South Korean tech giant may launch it and how much it would cost, its direct rival in the mobile and smartphone industry, Apple, may debut its paid subscription for health tracking for Apple Watches, Apple Health+, next year.

In Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman says that Apple may launch Apple Health+ next year (via MacRumors). Unfortunately, there’s no information on how much it costs. That information would have given us an idea about how much Samsung  Health’s paid subscription may cost.

He, however, says that Apple Health+ will offer AI-based health coach that will provide you with nutrition planning and medical suggestions, which is something many people are interested in. Samsung Health’s paid subscription could also offer similar features. Hopefully, we will get more details in the near future.
