A device with model number CPH2747, believed to be the upcoming OnePlus 15, showed up in TÜV certification documents with support for 121W fast charging. That’s a massive upgrade over the OnePlus 13’s 100W speeds, not to mention against the competition, many of which offer charging speeds well below the 100W mark.
What the Numbers Actually Mean
The jump from 100W to 121W might not sound huge on paper, but it could translate to noticeable real-world improvements. OnePlus 13 already charges incredibly fast with its 100W system, but every extra watt helps when you’re trying to top off a massive battery quickly.
Speaking of batteries, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to pack a 7,000mAh cell, which would be significantly larger than most current flagships. That extra capacity means you need more power to charge it efficiently, so the 120W system makes perfect sense from an engineering perspective.
