The long-rumored Verizon version of Samsung's Omnia II is being shown at CTIA in San Diego. Aaron got a little hands-on time with the device - in prototype form - and said it was a little buggy. But, hey, it's a prototype.

Omnia II for Verizon will sport a massive 3.7" AMOLED touchscreen and pack 3G and WiFi connectivity along with a 5 megapixel camera. While the device will run Windows Mobile, neither Samsung nor Verizon has yet stated if the phone will ship with WinMo 6.1 or the just-released 6.5 upgrade.

A little birdie told me Aaron and Adriana got some hands-on video with Omnia II in Verizon clothing, so stay tuned for that later on tonight. You know, like "Film at 11" TV News style.
