question about antivirus

I recently installed bit defender on my PC and now my active sync isnt working.
It cycles like its connecting but never does.
I googled it and found that others have been having the same problem.
I dont think anyone had a solution as far as i know.
I just want to know if anyone else knows a way around it?
thanks.

i believe that both kaos and myself will attest to the greatness of WebRoot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware. Trend Micro AntiVirus is pretty nice too.

My reccomendation will go to control panel and go to security and check your firewall exclusions if active sync is not there you got the option to put to work, i thnk bit defenders is blocking it if active sync under exclusions make sure is checked for it to work hopefully thats help..
