HTC Touch HD's Chinese rip-off

Well, sometimes a replica can outshine the original and surpass expectations. We agree that the HTC Max 4G is a best pocket pc to capture your fancy. But, a Chinese company tinkering with the phone came up with a much, much better version of the device!

We’re looking at a totally knock-out posse of features starting with a 4-inch WVGA screen to give you an idea. There’s an 806 MHz PXA310 processor to fire up the mean machine with MicroSD slot with 8GB, 128 MB RAM and Flash ROM 256 MB.

We’re also looking at FM support, TV-OUT support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a totally hot 5-megapixel camera with auto focus. The battery capacity reads as 1750 mAH while you can get a standby time of 150 hours. The price on this one is $439 which is a tad too expensive in Chinese terms. Despite the impressive set of features, we’re not really sure if this one would last the mile.
