thats what i was reading about, i head if you try to call for example at&t and just ask for the unlocking department (subisdy something something) and just say i need a code cause im going to italy...

I just got a blackberry pearl (8120) from my cousin and its for at&t but i need to use it for tmobile... can somebody help me unlocking the phone? I got the IMEI number.

okay... i wasnt sure, im gonna use his sim cause i did that before when i didnt have a code and it prompted me to enter a code as soon as i turned it on... But i can have his sim when im entering...

yeah, i tried pushing the call button and i get the "Only Emergency Calls" and only other thing that works is the clear button... Should I try this with my friends SIM card in it?
