PSA: Your OnePlus 10 Pro in the US won?t have an 80W charger in the box

- OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus 10 Pro charging brick in North America will differ from that of other countries.
- Global models will have an 80W charging brick while NA models will have last year’s 65W charger.
- OnePlus says this is due to 80W SuperVOOC not supporting North American electrical standards.
One of the star features of
the OnePlus 9 series was across-the-board 65W wired charging speeds. That speed allows you to charge your phone from zero to 100% in under 40 minutes.
We already know the
OnePlus 10 Pro charging speed will up the ante to 80W speeds. What’s more, OnePlus has confirmed an 80W charger will come in the box with the 10 Pro. However, buyers in North America — including the United States — won’t see that charger.
