i use this myself and love it! i feel it is in the top 3 out there.... norton is near the bottom if not at the bottom of the list

Hey I'm using AVAST! right now. Do I need to uninstall AVAST! 1st before I can install this? I would rather use this, but it popped up Virus/maleware found and I selected "No action" so I could stil download and it seemed to block connection or something and wouldn't let me unpack the .rar file.

jsut disable the AVAST.... i have the same problem with avg picking it up as being bad.... jsut because it is precracked making it read as a chance of being harmful to your pc.... its all good though and have installed now on multiple machines..... jsut disable AVAST and than install and you shoudl be good...... you should prolly uninstall AVAST also than and use something to clean the registry once your done.

did face this either and connects to the internet without any troubles...... make sure your firewall stock through windows isnt blocking this nad make sure you completely removed a past virus scan application because that can have firewall built in too blocking anything like another vcan to be performed or updated....

hi keep it of your windows firewall its not so good to have 2 firewalls the can conflict whit each ohter and you wil not be so good protected so better 1 firewall

Lol yea i member and i use AVG bro of course i had norton but when i tried to dwonload some things it would say it had a virus i didnt like that 90% of the time i was turning it off i then got rid of it

Yeah Avast is good, I had Avast before switching to AVG and the only reason I switched is because this is good until 2018! So I had to go with it. Pkus AVG especially this version is the shhhhh!!! So go for it bro, Norton blows

works fine for me and didnt have to do anything but install the exe that it came with than add the key.... mine still good to 2018 and have done on over 20 computers now without any troubles.

all i did was run the exe and than when it asked for the key on the screen i added it by copying and asting and than i was done and all registered.

Damn Dash, I feel like a noob. I run the .exe and everything goes good. Then when the window pops up it shows this:

Username: Admin
Company: Hewlett-Packard Company
License Number: 8A-AHCZ6-T60KW-BE2FR-QMCLF-PHMME

I then erase that license # and add the key but it gives me an error. I dont know whats wrong.

whats the exact error that you are receiving from this program? and what operating system are you running this on?

Wow now it worked lol, when I would first run the .exe and add right away the key, it would say that the key I entered was invalid and blah blah blah. So now I let it give me the trial, went into HELP, REACTIVATE, and added the Key and now it worked lol. This Vista computer is tripping lol. hi a firewall is build in avast and avg realtime oke and its not good to have 2 or 3 firewall because the dont worked good togethere and can cause problems so your better of whit 1 firewall

hi so you are infected from on the net you mean on connection right can you do a system restore or try to boot in safemode and uninstall it then you can install it again THE VIRUS ON CONNECTION WHAT WHAS THE NAME you got virus of is because this pro is cracked and any virus apps see it as a thread for your pc i use avast pro you can find that also here and that one is not cracked

i use without any troubles... avg has protected me good and havent had any troubles... have you gone through the settings and set up the antivirus correctly?

Um only thing i can suggest is have you backed up your laptop before ? If so you can restore to a early point see if that helps. Or you can completely restore your laptop back to facorty settings. I had to do that the other day cause of a Virus. It works but just an redown load everything to the laptop.

I'm guessing that you're not using the laptop to post. It is possible that someone else opened something on it? My kids did that to me a while back, and I used a different program to get rid of it.

Don't think it's the AVG that is the issue. Try using the search button for Malwarebytes and Avast. You may be able to load the program from a usb.

Don't know what kind of OS you are on. Is it possible to use a restore point? A little more information on your system would be helpful, as would the name of the antivirus program that your machine is trying to get you to buy.
