Fitbit?s new Sleep Profile adds cute animal types based on your sleep pattern



Although Fitbit devices currently provide great fitness and health readings, the firm is always working to make them even better. The new Sleep Profile fills that need and elevates Fitbit’s sleep analysis to a new level.The 10 different measures used by Sleep Profile to examine your sleep habits include sleep length, start time, variation, the amount of time it takes to fall asleep deeply, and more. The software will evaluate your sleep by analyzing the metrics to what is “normal” for your age and gender groups after recording your sleep with any Fitbit for at least 14 days per month.

A turtle, parrot, bear, dolphin, and hedgehog are among the six sleepy creatures. Depending on your sleeping patterns, your sleep animal can change every month. If users discover they are not really sleeping as much as they’d want, the Fitbit team hopes that their new Sleep Profile would motivate them to modify their sleeping patterns.

In order to develop this new function, the team claims to have examined 22 billion hours of sleep data. They collaborated with a neurologist, sleep specialists, and a research team to identify specific sleep measurements and even sleep animal personas.

Specific models, including the Fitbit Sense, Versa 3, Versa 2, Charge 5, Luxe, and Inspire 2, are presently receiving Sleep Profile. Users can anticipate receiving their first analysis around the week of July 4th. The service is exclusively available to Premium subscribers.
