Mozilla’s Fennec Coming Soon



CNet has posted an article about Mozilla’s Fennec browser, with some pretty interesting information about releases.
“Our goal is to have a release candidate next week,” said Jay Sullivan, Mozilla’s vice president of mobile. “If things go smoothly, we’ll have a (final) version out in the next few weeks,” with the debut planned for this year, he added.
The first mobile Firefox version will run on Nokia’s powerful N900. A Windows Mobile version of Firefox is set to arrive next year, and Mozilla has begun working on an Android version.

wow they keep saying that ,i installed the beta and it kinda sucks with resource and it was lagging alot..Unless they improved it, i think i wont be using it .

yeah the beta that came out a year or so ago was horrible... but looking at changelogs and such it is completely rebuilt and started from fresh code since they scrapped the last..... should be pretty promising... hopefully there will be flash included... guess we will find out soon enough when the RC (release canidate) is released
