Re: I need opinions and advice
sounds really good to me. only issue i see is no dedicated video card so your not gunna be setup for gaming but other then that its really sweet deal. i googled the laptop and on the pics i found had it able to rotate the screen. does it on that one?
btw what are the specs on the vaio? that would be one of your best bets. asus is.... also i might have seen one major issue.. 12.1 inch screen. thats TINY as hell. atm the average screensize is 15.1 thats probably why its so cheap. |

Re: I need opinions and advice
I understand what you mean. I had gotten a 17" gaming laptop but it wasn't the same for me as my home rig(ended up returning it). As they say bigger is better, but sometimes I just want portability. I have an old Intel P4 15" laptop I'm dying to upgrade, but I want either a 14" or 15" maybe a 13"

Re: I need opinions and advice
ide personally go with the vaio/ mainly because sonys are built really well and what not. its got less ram but it isn't that important for your needs. the only real time you will need more then 2 gigs is if you run a ton of intensive programs/game or do video editing. same as the processor. you will also get a better screen :P
