You can now reserve the Nothing Phone 1



The Nothing Phone (1) will be officially revealed on the 12th of July, but if you’re already pretty certain that this is going to be your next phone, you can actually go ahead and place a reservation on the phone right now via the company’s website, but there are a couple of caveats to take note of.For starters, private community members will have first crack at the reservation where they will be given an invitation code that they’ll have to use within 48 hours. They’ll then need to place a £20 non-refundable deposit that will secure them an order slot when the phone is officially announced next month.

If you’re not part of this private community, you’re not completely out of luck yet. You can instead sign up to be placed on a waiting list that will send out invitations in batches.



Nothing had previously confirmed that they will be adopting an invitation-only system for the Nothing Phone (1) for now. The company said that because they are still small, they don’t have the capacity to produce as many phones as they would like, so for now, invites will be used to help manage the supply of the device.

Also, another thing to note is that the Nothing Phone (1) will be skipping North America for now. Instead, they will be focusing on the UK and EU markets, but perhaps further down the line or maybe subsequent models could find their way stateside. There’s no reason the phone shouldn’t work in the US, but since it won’t be officially available, neither will official support.
