i have the maps still but would prolly take me some time to reupload them all since there is quite a few..... i will reup all in one link along with some other goodies :> give me a lil time to do so since it will prolly take around 8 hours or more to upload.

did you look a couple posts up or ask for a reup smarts???!!! theres a lot of files for oneto reup and wuite frankly im the only one doing these reups and ill leave thjis one to someone else since i jsut dotn have the time and i cant be the one expected to do everythign around here.

I would suggest reading the "readme" file within the zip file. It will tell you how to install this.

You'll need to unzip all the files and put them on your storage card then soft reset your phone and the auto installer should popup prompting your to install this. I would suggest installing OnCourse Navigator 8 instead. Its much more stable and the most recent.

um...on my igo... i livei n canada... in ontario.. the gps is working fine but then like.. i can't see any of the buildings. for example.. the chateau frontenac in quebec. other people's igo has it but not mine..? and also, is the canada buildings file suppose to be like 1.7mb? cuz the one thats uploaded on megaupload is that small. if any1 can tell me why im not seeing the buildings, that would be great, thanks

Have you gone into your 3d settings and set the building view up? Make sure its setup correctly or you might not see them. I had this problem originally but played with the 3d settings and I somehow fixed it

Also, make sure you have all the correct files.

1) 3d_terrains- NA_can.dem
2) building- Canada.3dl
3) maps- Canada8_2007.10_080311.fbl (might be a different build then yours)
4) pois- Canada.poi

Just make sure you've got all the correct files. Never hurts to double check

um... yes. i have the correct files and the settings, i have tried to set as close up, medium far, and off. but... i still dont see any buildings.. :/

i used this for a while on my mogul back in the day and loved it... still like garmin more to tell the truth but this too is a very nice gps with lots of extras

there is no read me file or .nfo. (i have a 2577 and an igo8 folder and a map right now)

Now you just place those two folders on your sd card

Once you pop the sd card back in the phone it will ask you if you want to install igo8(or manually go into 2577 folder and click the autorun exe)

the map goes in IGO8/content/map/ folder

you will also need the basemap for north America in the DEM folder and your states poi in the POI folder.

You need to have the dem North America in DEM folder and POI for Florida in POI folder

buildings is optional...

and yes keep the files on your sd card as it will take a lot of space. theres no need to have them on your device memory

than it may not support landscape on the rom that you are on or something else blocking it like registry tweaks or something.... if it portrait your good to go still right? you could also try to see if it gives you the same error when you use the rotate screen option available stock on wm devices.... easiest way to do it is start/settings/buttons and than map your button to rotate screen and see what that does for you.... or you could use the .ini file from the windows folder asnd make a shortcut with that

well thats prolly because this was released before wvga screens were made for windows mobile so i doubt it would support your device...

ive tried with a different data.zip folder as well which has these demension and that doesnt work either. Any garmin or igo8 style gps with INSTRUCTIONS out there?



ok i tried something new and now received what language and all, but freezes at data something at the bottom right. Mentions something regarding data recovery

Ahh....I see your running the tp2...thats your problem....You need to mess with the config files to make it work with the tp2 resolution ....I see you've already posted at another website ppcw**** regarding this problem. Hope you figure it out as I dont own a touch pro2.

Also I think your already set...the error initializing warning data at the bottom corner takes a while just leave your phone running for a while and it will get passed that...it only happens the first time you install and run igo8 after that it will start quick...the reason it takes long is because of the speedcams file it reads upon first time boot...
