Iphone Dialer Skin - "Constant On" Data Transfer icon

Since anyone has installed the iphone dialer did u notice that your "data transfer icon" is always ON while your data connection ("evdo") is connected. instead of it greying out when your not transfering data?

Mine used to grey out when i wasnt sending/recieving i was just wondering if and how the dialer could affect this.

If others have noticed this, how do we go about fixing it.?

i think its just one of the flaws of the dialer. im not sure if it is on connection at all times or what...... interesting though. lets see what the users of this dialer have to say

is it only when you're on the dialer or all the time even when the dialer isnt up?

It would help if someone could tell me the value of the dll in HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\ ext

on a sprint touch without a modded dialer skin.

dont have a touch on me the old man is at work and i gave him my touch to use for the time being since he was stuck with a pos katana that wouldnt get signal.

After more investigation, I found out that what used to be in there was:

HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\

ext: phcanhtc.dll (now its EtPhone.dll)

If i put phcanhtc.dll back the icon indicator works.
However it is overlayed w/ the sprint default buttons/scheme.

If i just remove etphone.dll it will show what looks like the old sprint htc mogul theme on top of the iphone theme.

It Would Seem if i could get the Default touch skin dial buttons not to show over the top of the iphone dialer while still using phcanhtc.dll this would work

anyone know how to make it so that both phcanhtc.dll and EtPhone.dll get loaded??

or any other ways to get this working?

no clue the data arrows bug you dont they just because they dont work lol.... i have no clue myself.

Its good to know whether or not calls will go straight to voicemail due to data transmitting.

Does anyone know if you delete the image for the call history button, will pressing on the screen where the image used to be still bring up call history?

yes you will still receive them like always

no it will not work anymore if you delete the image file.
