Explanation or Guide for Custom ROM and Flashing Radios

Hello guys
I highly value the advice and info this site offers.

Can you point me to threads that specifically explain 2 things

1) Adding custom ROMs to my Fuze
2) Flashing Radios

I would like to learn EVERYTHING I can about what these actually mean, what it does to your phone, how you do it, etc - so I can make a decision if I actually want to do these things to my phone.

If you can provide links to these types of explanation threads (on this site or elsewhere) I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
