So Many ROMs I need a filter

Hi guys... looking for some advice from you gurus more familiar with the latest greatest ROMs for the Touch Pro 1.


Before telling me your favorite ROM, which may be horrid for me, please read my needs/wants before suggesting something...


I guess I'm finally ready to look at flashing a new ROM to my Touch Pro since I've been running the latest Sprint stock ROM for a while. I haven't flashed it because I NEED my phone every day I work. If I goof it up, I'm screwed. Work will be slow for a while, so it wouldn't be as big a disaster as it normally would...

My priorities... IN ORDER are:
Stability
Battery Life
Speed
As stripped down as possible.




Generally, all the apps I need I can re-install later. For example, I have no need for Teeter.
All I'd like to keep is the MS Office Mobile suite.



I don't care about eye candy at all, so long as everything is crystal clear...



So far, I've been using the latest stock Sprint ROM with SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 on top. It's a battery hog, but it's years ahead of TF3D. A ROM w/o TF3D would be great.


So... suggestions?
Tell me WHY you think the suggested ROM is a good idea, too!

silence rom 012 posted today is by far the best rom on the market.......youll just have to try it to know what i am talking about. I know many people here will back me up on this. The rom is very stable and batter life is phenominal. there is no lag on sense ui 2.1. I mean really you have to try it im a believer in silence roms and i dont think i will flash anything else except to test. Im not saying it cus its NOW my farvorite but i used mightyrom and his are good to but silence is more stable

I would either go one of the 3 NRG , NFSFANS , GSS rom those all have what you are looking for lol...

I'd recommend SKY-Rom, especially Sense 2.1 version, battery life is so good!!, if you notice, it all comes down to trying yourself the different rooms and choosing one, everyone has different opinions, so start flashing!!!

That's the rom I would use.. but for someone wanting a basic rom that is stable for everyday use naked with bare minimum on it... go with NFSFANS or GSS ROM imo the closest one to what he described.
