running memory

stupid question....

is there any way to "free up" some running memory so that my phone will maybe keep running faster.

i just did a hard reset and it's running ok.....but the running programs is taking up 30mb's of my only available 40mb's?

just curious? any suggestions?

running spb mobile shell w/ burnt orange theme, and sms chat.

ALSO, CAN I PUT LIKE SMS CHAT ON MEMORY CARD AND IT STILL RUN THEY WAY IT IS NOW? OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE STORED IN MAIN MEMORY LIKE I HAVE IT?

i told u, stupid questions.............lol

Re: running memory

Well you can do what i do and have no modifications at all to the phone, that's the fastest way (Well you can also get a clean rom w/o the sprint shit) But there are programs out there that can free up ram but the second after the hard reset will be the time the phone runs fastest, Almost anything you install will slow it down, Except like overclokers and stuff. Oh yeah have you overclocked your processor to 660mhz ??

yea the overclock app that i have tho is 520 or 624? is there an update to get it to 660?

and thanks (tigerz), but i like my spb mobile shell and can't live w/o my sms chat at this point, IF I had the balls to flash the rom (which I wouldn't dare b/c I know I would screw it up, not that knowledgable jus yet) then yea I would have the wm 7.0 instead of whatever it is I'm running....b/c the wm 7 i understand comes with that sms chat thing instead of having an extra app for that.

thanks tigerz and i requested a sig from venom today, told him i would like something with a tiger (that's my thing, got a huge nicely framed potrait of a white tiger above my fireplace) but I would understand cuz u like got that tiger thing on "lock down" LOL !!! or i told him something with Tommy Lee maybe. not picky anyways.
