ZD Recorder is a unique software program that can record almost
everything displaying on the computer screen, including desktop
applications, PC games, various videos (streaming video, flash
video, webcam video, DVD video, and etc.), and record audio from
speaker or microphone simultaneously.

Minimal performance impact on system.
· Screen recording is not a simple task. It captures a large
number of pixel data from screen to memory and then encodes the
pixel data into a compressed video bitstream. Simultaneously,
it also captures sound data from sound card to memory and then
encodes the sound data into a compressed audio bitstream. This
process repeats 20-30 times every second during the course of
recording. So there is performance impact on system. If the
performance impact is distinct, it would be a bad experience,
especially when playing a PC game. ZD Recorder is fully
optimized to reduce the performance impact on system and does
perform better than most of the other screen recording software
on the market.

Fast real-time audio/video encoding.
· As mentioned above, real-time audio/video encoding is the key
task of screen recording. So, efficient codecs are required. ZD
Recorder selects XviD MPEG-4 Codec for video encoding and Lame
MP3 Codec for audio encoding. Both of the two codecs are fast,
stable and classic.

Good audio/video synchronization.
· Many real-time video processing software programs may have
audio/video sync problem when either audio data or video data
is too much for them to handle in real time. ZD Recorder uses a
smart algorithm to dynamically skip overloaded data in order to

Wow, love that search feature! This is exactly what I was looking for! When I Google searched I kept coming across the Debut Desktop Recorder but I felt I could find a better one on here. I'm surprised nobody else has added to this post or gave any feedback. I am going DL now and try this out. My video recorder is out dated big time and I can't upload anything to pc w it. I only have my phone, but I want to do a few tutorials for a couple friends of mine and walk them through some things and this is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. All I need now is an adapter for my microphone which I'll grab tomorrow so it can record my words as well as the screen..... Tutorials coming soon!!!! Sweet, ty ty ty! I am anxious to start recording, need a mobile version of this, lol, would be a nice little winmo app other than spb screenshot, how about spb screen record/capture...hmmm. Well thanks and 2 thumbs up for this! Funny how I found this by searching and was posted months back and some people can't find things from 2 threads back! Amazing! Will report back how well this works and maybe even post up a vid for confirmation.

Has anyone had any luck with the crack on this? I installed and when I select the crack folder it gives me an error saying cannot locate win32 file or something? Do I need to copy this in a a root directory or orignall app or what? Future Thaks!

Does anyone have a serial for this or another app like this w a serial. I have searched and this is only desktop recorder I've found here. I have it downloaded but no matter what I do the crack DOES NOT WORK...says I'm missing a .dll file and i have reinstalled it several times and no luck! I NEED A DESKTOP RECORDER!!!!!!!!!! This is only good for 30 uses.. anyone have a serial or can get a serial??? Thanks for any info on this!

you may have to find a version that you like on google and make a request for it in the request area and i have a feeling that someone if not beaten to it will be able to find that version and make for ya

Okay, dunno how everyone else did it, but this is how I did it and it seems to work.

Download (DUH) - tried to use winrar and it gave me an error. used 7zip instead, password worked.

opened up file, ZD soft and there are two files. another one that says ZDsoft and one that says crack

in the zdsoft file, installed program to pc by clicking on the exe. let it do it's thing, and did not launch it or anything, undo both tick boxes.

when done, went back to original file, copied the crack, and pasted into file with everything in it. It replaced larger file with smaller file.

I've tested it, and it works, don't know anything about the 30 tries, haven't played with it that much yet. sends file to output file, you can pick where you want it to go.

So I will uninstall and do what you did instead! Now, when you say you copied the crack and placed it into file with everything in it..did you just copy the whole crack folder, or the crack exe? Also, which file with everything in it? I think once you unpack the rar file there is only 1 folder and that is the crack folder. I'm at work right now but will check it out when I get home I'm sure I will figure it out now that you gave me an idea of what to do. Thank you very much!!!

Well I did and it seems to be set u, but I don't have or I can't find any codec and thats exactly what I need because it will not lay the recordings on Windows Media Player or Divx Player. So I can record...but no layback...ugh...y does this shit have to be so comlicated... well thanks for your hel sorry for all the questions.
