Ummm, I'm really not going on vacation! (new staff joke)

In case anyone didn't know, I have developed some issues with my lappy. Weird little things, and have tried everything that has been suggested, to no avail. winlogon.exe issue dll's changed, all kinds of stuff. Used eset, 1click, malwarebytes, avast, avg, etc.

I am going to attempt my first reload NOT using the original discs. Don't know where they are. I know they are here somewhere, but can't find them. So I found a Windows Professional SP2 disc. I have the key for my laptop, so we shall see.

I will probably be pestering folks on Palringo if I run into any major issues. I will have hubby's laptop and my aircard so I may be able to get things figured out.

If you have any wonderful bits of insight, please let me know, I will be trying to check my email.

I will be unloading my laptop of all the stuff I want to keep, so that will take a little while to do.
