Re: Need a new computer
something that pricey i would buy new. You could even buy from the manufacturer you like outlet site. Back when i bought my Inspiron 6000 it was 1400 i paid 700 and got a 3 yr warranty. cause it was refurbished...but i didn't care look brand new and had warranty as brand new....Same thing with my Inspiron 4125. was going for 1600 paid 900. so shop the outlets they have deals waiting.
some links Dell Codehttp://www.dell.com/outlet Codehttp://www.hp.com/sbso/buspurchase_refurbished.html |

Re: Need a new computer
What do you plan on doing with the computer? you need a basic or high end ?
HP Sucks balls!! sorry they stuff their computers with bloatware Try dell , Acer(higher end models) , Asus Stick with Intel processors as they are more energy efficient, thus your battery will last longer and they are faster |

Re: Need a new computer
the price may be great but what are u actually getting, i read somewhere that people have been selling things on craigs list then doing the switcheroo and the buyer is out and gets something much less quality and the seller is no where to be found...

Re: Need a new computer
no that would be a full disc. the upgrade runs from your current system and keeps documents and pictures stuff like that programs too. but heres the catch 90% of units being sold have vista basic. guess what basic isnt part of the upgrade deal. personally i already am on 7rtm fully activated. and that was on a brand new system.

Re: Need a new computer
i like hp and hate dell. thinks its all personal preference. Whatever you feel comfortable with. i have a low-end hp and a high end hp. both are great for me. I say find some you like online then go to a store and check them out.
