Re: Copying copyrighted dvd movies
nero can stop the copy protection... i dont rip dvds anymore i just dl off the internet if you want to easily create dvds get a demonoid account and theres a guy on there named axxo. he puts everything on there as it comes out on dvd. then i use a program called xilisoft avitodvd and create dvds. you can also use winavi to convert it takes about 15 minutes to dl a movie from axxo and an hour to completely create and burna dvd. you also might want to dl the divx codecs.

Re: Copying copyrighted dvd movies
thats false, any bootlegged app on your computer is illegal to have if seen by law enforcement if im not mistaking. and you are taking someone elses work that is under copywrite and getting it for free and than also selling their work as if it was yours which is a federal offense and huge fines!!! look at the beginning of any movie from the beginning of time and you wil see that copywrite and that paragraph saying in distribution................ i would stop doing that myself before it catches up to you and just use them for your own personal use and dont try to make money off of others hard work..... its no different than someone stealing someone elses work in the ppc world than selling it on ebay.....

Re: Copying copyrighted dvd movies
my 2 cents in the pot: i regards to the topic i use dvdfab but it is temperamental so i'd go the way of the divix codecs and nero as an alternative, in regards to legality i totally agree with d/\sh not only is the warning pretty clear but common sense and discretion helps i make "backup archival copies" of movies for personal use and "extended evaluation" but would never consider making a profit off of it, the DMCA is a *****, i gues what monkeyxiv was refering to was the thing about P2P music downloadsthat they are going after the ones that upload rather than download but that is and will always be a grey area... thankyou, drivethrough!
