[NEWS] Microsoft and Nokia Form Alliance

Microsoft expands it's reaches even further partnering with the worlds largest smartphone manufacturer Nokia. Under the agreement, Microsoft and Nokia with begin collaborating on design, developement, and marketing to the mobile professional. The new product will bring Microsoft Office Mobile and Microsoft business communications to Nokia's Symbian devices.

Some highlights of the features are, from Microsoft.com:

• The ability to view, edit, create and share Office documents on more devices in more places with mobile-optimized versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OneNote
• Enterprise instant messaging and presence, and optimized conferencing and collaboration experience with Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile
• Mobile access to intranet and extranet portals built on Microsoft SharePoint Server
• Enterprise device management with Microsoft System Center

agreed, i feel that in the long run this should help wm out sicne they will be getting different thoughts and such on how to build there os from an outsded source and such.... just might be what microsoft needs which is a kick in the butt.
