Windows 7 internet security

i just got windows 7 professional from work and i dont know which internet security to install
i got norton internet security 2010 but now my laptop is really slow
i have a dell xps 1330 4gb ram, 320 hard drive
i heard norton takes up alot of ram
any advice on good security that uses low ram for windows 7?

avast is really good and works with windows 7

i remeber there being a section for windows software but i cant find it anymore
someone told me about a vip thing before but i never quite understood what he meant

well i use the default windows firewall which will do the same with 3rd party apps unless you have kids then norton will be the choice but then Mcaffe is alot better and less resource hog.It has the same features as nortons.And i use symentac antivius corporate edition, its light weight but still do the job.

Oh by the way Mcaffe was ranked 2nd place by pc world.Can't remember who was first cause i gave my magazine to a friend.

my man DASH is correct!!
i personally use avast pro on my windows 7 ultimate 64bit!!
i had and used to play around with norton and mccafe but after experiencing
lags and having files all over my pc lol i came to find out that hey may be good
and well know internet security but they are a file hugger!
but hey this is just me !!!
maybe someone actually does have good experience with norton or mccafe but if you wish to try avast pro its here some were in out forums lol
here ill save you some time!!
