[NEWS] ARTICLE: T-Mobile ending myFaves promotion

As a result of the recent Even More and Even More Plus plans, T-Mobile is planning to phase out its myFaves service, which offered unlimited calling to five people. According to T-Mobile, it was time to replace the feature:

"Our new Even More plans, which feature options for unlimited calling, text and data service, have taken the place of our myFaves unlimited calling feature. We continue to offer the myFaves home screen, at no additional charge, across our broad portfolio of phones as a way for customers to easily connect with their Fave Five through voice, text and email. And customers currently subscribing to the myFaves unlimited calling feature can choose to continue to benefit from that plan."

The myFaves feature entered the scene shortly after Alltel's My Circle offering, and sparked AT&T's "A-List" and Verizon Wireless' "Friends & Family" offerings.

i think this is a good choice by t-mofbile, they were the first if not mistaking to come out with this feature and now with project black and their other plans there is really no need for this any longer... sure some may suffer from it but at that point pinch out the couple extra bucks and if you can go prepaid.
