Nokia G21 Makes its Way to More Markets

Nokia fans in Australia and new Zealand looking to get more of the Finnish brand’s mid-range devices might just be in luck. HMD Global seems set on pushing through more markets, and the Nokia G21 in particular might soon be available in the aforementioned regions.

According to information available online, the Nokia G21 was recently announced in Australia, just in time for a Mother’s Day sale. In addition, the company has also put up classifieds for a “Go To Market Manager” in New Zealand and Australia.

The Nokia G21 was launched back in February of 2022, and comes with a 6.5-inch LCD with a 90Hz display, a fairly basic Unisoc T606 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. The back also comes with a triple camera set-up with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

More recently, a new Nokia phone was made available in the United States in the form of the Nokia C200, although the handset features fairly basic specs such as a 6.1-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a single 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel notch camera, and 32GB of internal storage.

Nokia has mostly shifted its focus in producing devices tailored for budget users in recent years, equipping its current phones with mid-range specs such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4-series chipsets, polycarbonate designs, and sub-500 dollar pricing
