Ladies and gentlemen,

Tested and working on a CDMA Mogul only......

This modded EtPhone.dll removes Smartdial but maintains all of the redial functionality for Minimal Dialer v1.3!!!!

From the Dial Screen, click the Call button and your last call will be redialed.

From the Call Screen, redial is a two-step process:
1. Within portrait mode, click the Call button, and you will be taken back to the dial screen where you click the Call button once more to redial the last call.
2. Within landscape mode, click the Call button, and you will be taken back to the dial screen where you click the small phone icon in the left corner to redial the last call.

This EtPhone.dll also fixes the text shifting as mentioned by MFx in post #494.


Installation Notes:
Unzip the file, then close cprog.exe on your phone with a Taskmanager. Copy EtPhone.dll to the /Windows directory on your phone. You can soft reset if you like, but I've never had to. Then just start your phone as usual.


Please remember that this modded EtPhone.dll is only for v1.3 and has only been tested on a Mogul, as I have no other device. ##Codes were working on my phone, as well as 911, but again, YMMV.

Here is an add on I have that gives redial and smartdial functions on the HTC Touch. I havent tested it on any other model so I dont know if it will work. Also, it only works with the letters version. But it does work like a charm.

doubt it for the moment.... when the new version gets released they will prolly have the fix and the dialer in the same cab.

i do but am still working on getting everything back onto my lappy after i reflashed vista ultimate on it and started clean.

Every time I add a skin my dialer looks like this......What am I doing wrong.....I am downloading the cabs and installing them????

try to take the redial option off and see if that clears it up for you..... and the mogul is very touch too dialers trust me i have experienced first hand and so have many others..... than you get the few lucky ones that dont have the troubles.

that could be it also... i used to have this problem but now i have my dialers cook into the rom..

thats because you have a vga resolution device and you have to use a vga resolution dialer skin and apps....
