help with htc touch pro text messages

despite the fact that i remain within the conversation with the person i am talking to through text messages, all messages sent from the person i am talking to is processed as an unread message within the conversation, so the phone shows indications that i have a new message despite the fact that i really dont. Can anyone help me?

i took the file and extracted it in more phone and ran the program, but more problem is still not fixed =/

you have to soft reset after you run the exe on your phone.

so let me get this straight... you have no unread messages but one is still showing on the touchflo slider correct? is any one conversation still showing the unread message?

i would be in a text message conversation, and even though i stay within the conversation and reply to the messages sent to me, my phone does not recognize that and just plies the messages as if they were unread and not replied.

i can confirm that is a bug. my wife's TP2 has one unread message indicator showing at all times. so when she gets a new one, it is one more than is actually there. she doesn't like me "Fu*#^ng" with her phone, so guess who is stuck with the annoying bug???? hint: not me.

hahaha try running the cab that i posted..... that fixed it for me all the time no matter what phone i used it on and i have used successfully on the 6700, 6800, 6900, 6850, 6950, and the touch pro 2

than your going go solid snake stealth mode in therE (dont whip out the solid snake) and take it and run it than delete to expose the evidence since nothing installs

Bro Dash just mentioned it does the 6800 is the touch pro so yes it does try it and come back with some feedback

he said he tried and that it didnt work for him.... hard reset would be your only other option. i feel that you had the 2016 bug and got a pic mail and its way up there somewhere still unread and thats causing the issue than... but you could look for what i mentioned above or the hard reset but thats the only 2 options i can come up with if the exe didnt work for you... work for psychotk without troubles and has for me in every instance in the past.

i wonder that too sicne i havent heard of it failing before ever and used successfully on mine and buddies phones each and every time... and it worked on your princess as well.

well ive had this problem before the 2016 bug came up and i fixed that with one of the cab files you posted up. I just tried the hard reset and that didnt work either =/

after a hard reset it shows one message? a ahrd reset clears everything including contacts so back em up... it wouldnt show 1 message after a hard reset because there will be nothing in there period.... your prolly doing a soft reset with the stylus correct?

check out a freeware that you can find here or on google named pimbackup and than launch that choose what you want to backup and save to your storage card. than once your back booted up relaunch the same file and choose the restore option and use the restore file that you saved on your storage card and it auto puts everything back on there for you
