Google is seemingly planning to launch new Pixel Buds Pro colors in order to match the Pixel 8 colors. This information has been shared by Paras Guglani, and 9to5Google made some mockups to show us what the colors will look like, approximately.
New Pixel Buds Pro colors are on the horizon due to the Pixel 8 launch
First and foremost, we’re talking about two colors here, ‘Porcelain’ and ‘Sky Blue’. These two colors are supposed to match the Pixel 8 Pro. We’ve already seen both of those Pixel 8 colors leak, actually (gallery below).
Now, in regards to the earbuds themselves, as already mentioned, 9to5Google made some mockups. You can see both color variants in the gallery below. These colors are based on the Pixel 8 Pro leaks, so chances are they’re somewhat accurate.
If we had to guess, we’d say that these new colors will arrive alongside the Pixel 8 series. That means they’ll launch on October 4. Google already announced that launch date.
The Pixel Watch 2 is also coming
The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are not the only products that will launch there, actually. The Pixel Watch 2 is also expected, in addition to these new Pixel Buds Pro color variants. So it’ll be a packed event.
Some people expected a new version of Pixel Buds Pro to arrive, but that won’t happen, it seems. The Pixel Buds Pro have been around since July 2022, so they’re over a year old now. Google will wait until probably next year in order to introduce a second-gen model.
Those earbuds are still very compelling, and there’s simply no reason for Google to go ahead and revamp them. The Pixel Buds A-series earbuds are also available for users who feel no need to get the ‘Pro’ variant.
We’re about a month away from Google’s event at this point, and more leaks are expected, so brace yourselves.
