The iPhone 15 Pro was revealed to be getting a few PC and console games including Resident Evil Village which now has an official launch date. It’ll be arriving on the App Store for iPhone 15 Pro owners at the perfect time too.
Some might even say the most well-suited time possible. Given the game’s story and content. But enough on that, you’re here because you want to know when the game releases for your shiny new iPhone. Officially it will launch for the iPhone 15 Pro on October 30. Just one day before Halloween. If you’re not busy taking your siblings, kids, or nieces and nephews from door-to-door bagging treats the night of the spookiest holiday of the year then you can curl up on the couch and play this instead. Maybe leave the lights on though if you scare easily.
Resident Evil Village on iPhone 15 Pro will launch with the Winters’ expansion
When the game releases at the end of next month, you’ll be able to play both the base game plus its Winters’ expansion. But they won’t be available as a single package. You will need to buy the main game and the expansion separately if you want to play both.
Resident Evil Village will be $39.99 and the Winters’ expansion will be $19.99. So for the pair you will need to fork out $60. That sounds like a lot for a phone game. But keep in mind this isn’t really a phone game. This is the full original version of the game that PC and console players received. Not a mobile port. As for total device compatibility, it’s not just the iPhone 15 Pro that will have access. Capcom is also launching the game for iPhone 15 Pro Max owners. Additionally all iPad owners with an iPad running on at least the M1 chip will be able to play too.
In addition Resident Evil Village, iPhone and iPad owners are also getting treated to the release of Resident Evil 4 and its Separate Ways DLC. Capcom says the release will be “later this year.” Apple is also bringing Death Stranding and Assassin’s Creed Mirage to the platform. With Death Stranding out this year and AC Mirage out in 2024.
