Honor has been rumored to enter the flip foldable smartphone market for a long time. The company confirmed it is actively considering the form factor but it won’t rush its flip foldable to the market. A new tip from Digital Chat Station suggests that the first flip foldable from Honor will arrive in Q1, 2024 with a 4,500 mAh battery which could make it the flip foldable with the largest battery capacity.
The new tip also suggests that Honor will maintain its focus on horizontal folding phones with new additions like the Honor V Purse 2 and Magic V3 which will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Honor is also reportedly working on bringing satellite communication and a variable aperture main camera to its Magic 6 flagship bar smartphone lineup which is also due to launch in the first quarter of 2024.
