HTC EVO 3D in 2021: Crazy 3D Phone, 10 Years On! [Retro Review]

5. My friend had this phone I thought it was so cool

6. My first android ever. Loved this. Spent many hours playing Nova 3 on this device

7. 1:15 they ware extremely popular in Europe, right from the start noone wanted them, because price was extreme, but like after half year htc (or mby only local resellers) drop price under htc sensation, and since evo 3d is basically htc sensation with 3d and extra 512mb ram, it was awesome deal, i did get my brend new for something around 220usd.

10. Had the Virgin Mobile version back in 2012. It was a huge upgrade at the time from my Optimus! Lol. Back when smartphone companies were taking risks, and being bold. Now I have a boring iPhone 😴😂

11. LG optimus 2x and LG optimus 3D are best too, for playing 3D/HD games. Mostly from glu, gameloft, ubisoft mobile game developers

15. I loved this phone, the 3D was really just a cool talking point with friends, other than that it ran about as well as all the other phones at the time. plus the included free 3D spiderman game let me enjoy the 3D outside of the camera app

16. I had this phone when it came out. Besides the crap OS, bloatware, low end specs, and dropped calls, it's 3D effect was amazing. I got some cool pics still saved from it, but unable to view them as intended these days. Been looking for one just to have as a collectors item and to use for my own enjoyment again. Funny to think I thought this was a big phone back then lol.

19. Just sucks that the videos that are 3D oon this phone are NOT comoatible with 3D glasses. So you have to actually have the phone or tv for it to work.

23. Lol I remember I used to watch "Claycats – The Thing" in 3D on here. Good quality, I'd use it to show everyone the 3D effect.

28. Just got the LUME Pad by Leia Inc., which has a 3D 16MP dual camera with a four viewing angle display. But I still use my HTC EVO 3D!

37. Can't remember if it was this phone or kick stand that had the negative picture features in the camera. That was so f'n cool.

38. I went from this phone to an iPhone 5! I was bummed out about not having 3D anymore until I felt how light and manageable my 1st iPhone was back then. It was like going from carrying a brick around to carrying a pack of spearmint gum🤣

39. I remember people use to ask me to show them what the weather forecast was for that day and the weather effects would make all kinds weather effect noises and animations

40. Just ordered one off ebay just to use the 3d video camera. Any idea if it will work without activation? Its a Sprint version.

42. I owned the sprint version. I took like 10 pictures in 3d.then the novelty wore off. At the time i owned a small canon point and shoot and that was still my to go choice for taking pictures.

45. htc ditched too many features too quickly and asked ridiculous prices for their devices sometimes relative to the competition. samsung was much better at slowly boiling the water in the pot in that respect.

46. I had this phone and was the only one with it and got laughed at. This phone was trash and I stayed at the store because something was going wrong

48. My first true touch screen phone

49. Fell into the Toilette and died step by step due to corrosion. Unfortunately. Only one Gig of Rom was way to less. Updating Stock Apps already filled it almost completely. 3d was funny though.

50. Battery life was terrible after 6 months had to get rid of it
