Way To Install Dialer Skins Without Files Under Programs

ok this is what you have to do, it will be a step by step and this will be stickied.

1. download the skin that you want not in cab format but just the folder with the images in it. (if you need it to be broke down from a cab just use winrar and double click on it and extract the files)
2. download resco file explorer which can be found here: https://www.smartphonejunkie.org/sho...+File+Explorer
3. save the loose images all in one folder to the storage card on your device
4. open resco file explorer and register the program using only the first section of the digits from the keygen
5. go to the folder with the loose images and go to select all.
6. copy all the images in that folder by holding down and than go to edit.
7. than paste them into the main memory/windows folder. it will ask you to overwrite these files. say yes to all of the pop-ups.
8. close out of the program and soft reset your done all you have to do now is go to your dialer app and you will be skinned and have none of the image files under your programs.
9. also if you want to go back to the original dialer skin you can just download this cab file or do a hard reset the cab is the best way of course: https://www.smartphonejunkie.org/sho...d.php?t=141380

i followed the instructions, after i copy the files to main/windows folder it never asked me to overwrite files, after a soft reset the skin was never applied, is it the same forder for the htc touch???

the newer one have been fixed so please tell us which one you would like to insdtall on the phone and we will fix it for you and make it a cab file for you

you would need to exract all the files so that there is 75 photo images not the cab file to the windows folder also

75???............damn, i tried installing the first Iphone dialer you come across, but it never gave me any image files, i only found cab files an then about 5 other files which i assumed were the image files mentioned with a different extension.

u must extract the cab on your computer in order to get all 75 files

everytime i click on the resco file explorer link it says "you do not have permission to access this page." i looked in the file list from all cab and i cant find it there or in your list of apps sticky either.

this problem has been fixed so you dont have to do it anymore just use the cabs and also you have to join the members upload group to view programs

as already said one million times we ran into some issues with some developers so you ahve to sign up for downloads still free either under the downloads tab from the taskbar under th epm area or you can go above the chat box and than click ther link from there. Thanks

ok i followed the exact instructions to the above. I extracted all files and put them where they need to go in my sprint mogul but still didn't get my skin on my dial pad. can anyone help??

as said earlier in the thread just use .cab files to install just transfer to your phone then run the cab file

it should work fine unless you are using a skin that wasnt made for th mogul but for the vogue..... ive used this many times without troubles.

What's the difference between using the rescro program and just copy and pasting it in file explorer?

because it allows you to overwrite rom files and the stock one wont allow you to..
