maybe install that rom posted earlier here, first man....

unlock phone with spl unlock thing**?

yes you want to unlock with hardsp..... take a look at my signature through my profile or through some of the release threads that show it (or free talk) i have a link for how to flash roms..... very easy tutorial for you to follow.

i edited your number for you btw...... rename the file TITAIMG.nbh (all caps) and than place the memory card in your device and manually enter bootloader...... than just follow the steps on the screen :>

Kaos's **** Sprint Custom rom Build 420 Take 3
on my Sprint PPC6800

Is this better, newer?

tweety - thanks for your help.. i finally got to flash the new rom. it was the boot loader after all.. i was using spl 2.06 as a bootloader and once i got the olipro 2.4, everything went thru smoothly..

one last thing, i'm still running off 3.35 radio and you mentioned that it's better to use 3.42 or 3.49 or something.. you actually posted a link for that radio but when i extract the file, it ends up being the titaimg.nbh file.. did you link the right one for me to download? i wish there was a sticky for all of the bootloaders, radios, and ROMs so it'll be easier to find..

anyways, can you please post a link for the newer radio and i'm planning on using the usb cable to update my mogul..

bad idea to flash radio through activesync. just do sd card way. way easier and faster. trust the pros lol

i'd love to flash the radio via sd card but i can't get pass the bootloader. the screen already says olipro 2.40 but it just gets stuck there. when i try via usb, i pass the bootloader but the phone restarts when the the bar goes up to 8% then i get the error code...

here are the steps:

downloaded the file thru the link that tweety posted.
extracted the radio file that has titaimg.nbh to the storage card that is already formatted to fat32
press and hold power+camera then reset button
enter bootloader olipro 2.40 then it gets stuck there..

any ideas?

>_< pfft each time i had flashed a new radio i did it through active sync... come on now don't be jocking on me. anyways. thanks to monkey being monkey i have gotten access to teh new oems from nuerom. im hoping that maybe kaos can make a new rom with one of these smoking new oems. were looking at 30+ mb upon boot. or maybe once i learn to make roms. (currently in research stage). then i can become the next mogul rom master ^_^.

getting the oems are nothing. easy to get but you really shouldn't hijack this thread as it is only for kaos take 5 rom.
and for flashing radio, usually when you flash via activesync, it flashes your entire phone not just the radio as others have said. it's much easier via sdcard

could you kindly tell me what i'm doing wrong please? i just tried it again via sd and i keep getting stuck at the same place...

stuck at the bootloader olipro 2.40.. i'm using the 512 that came with the phone.
