Here's what's on the menu today...

This is an HTC Diamond CDMA ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.

I always build my ROMs with three main goals.

• Eye candy.
• Speed!!
• Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.

You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).


I usually make 3 versions of this ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.

Here are the different versions and what they mean.

• "Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin (Titanium*) and the Tachi dialer

• "Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version. This also includes the regular HTC dialer

You will find TWO core versions of each of the above versions.

One based on an the latest official windows build (currently 21864) and the other, built on the latest beta.

Currently the fast, stable, most bug free "official build" is 21864. I recommend you start with that first! :)

• Fixed date picker control in portrait
• Updated to AudioManager 1.7 (Manila's Music Tab)
• Cooked in "working" landscape people tab fixes
• Added LockstreamDRM to the ROM for DRMed people
• Slight change to the initial flash screen
• New default black all backgrounds image in Manila
• Updated to Tachi Album 3.0 1914 Sys wheel enabled and smoother operation
• Added Sibor's patch to the SMS tab for better fit and finish in both potrait and landscape modes

3 Row Start Menu




This will arrange your icons and folders like microsoft intended it, on 3 rows instead of 4.

Tachi dialer disabler





Tachi disabler cab will disable the Tachi Dialer and enable the built in microsoft dialer. This however will disable calling from the TF3D, and possibly in texts and emails.
you'll have to do all your dialing from the dialer itself or the built in Contacts interface (on the start menu or the right softkey on the homescreen).

These CABs will restore the stock look of the Manila interface. Sometimes this is necessary to make sure some of them themes you might install, work properly. Especially stuff related to the slider.

Can you give us a lil review bro i havent heard much about this rom id go over to ppcgeeks to see what they say but i trust spj more so id like a review if its not much to ask.Thanks

Since I decided to take a break from cooking I flashed to this ROM and I like it so far. Runs smooth and haven't found any major bugs on it!

with this rom you don't have to add anything everything on this rom is complete and ready for use.. fast and easy manilla and it got in call recording microsoft to phone i mean it has everything... the only thing you need to add is probably stuff that you want extra.. very much organized and the folders are just sexy lol.. gotta use .cab files to change the theme...

if you want to take things that you have on start and put into utilities folder all you do is go into file explorer/windows/start menu/programs ....... then just move your programs back and forth and you can keep them organized like you like... and even though it says that certain programs won't work correctly THEY WILL...

hopefully this helps a few peoples... i love this rom i liked a few but this one is just lovely lol...

ONE ??? does anyone know if you can use the video call that comes up as an option when you go to your phone pad then select options and then video call... i tried many friends phones and i get nothing.. does anyone have history of it working?

video call doesnt work on cdma devices and doesnt fully support or isnt unlcoked to support data and call at the same time

Start/Setting/Lock setup a pin code for your phone an set the time at zero minutes so it locks once the screens blacks out.

ok before you guys kill me for so many ??? lol... is there a way to get compact qwerty on this rom... and does anyone have it running... i've searched and tried many... lots unsuccesful... does anyone have a working cab? or something i can do to make it work on this rom and my diamond?
